2024 Foco Food Truck Rallies FAQ

When do the Rallies Start?

May 14th 2024- September 17th 2024. There is no Tuesday rally on 7/2, but there is a special celebration with food trucks and fireworks in the park on 7/4!

What is the location of the Rally?

Food Trucks line up on Sheldon Drive inside of City Park, Fort Collins. If you are being dropped off via car, PASSENGER DROP OFF is on Jackson Ave on the east side of of City Park.

DO NOT STOP OR SLOW DOWN on Mulberry Avenue. Pedestrians and cyclists, please use designated crosswalks on Mulberry Avenue to arrive at the event if traveling from the South.

What can I expect at the Food Truck Rally?

Lots of cute dogs, chilling in the park with your family and friends, live music, and great food of course! Since this event is a FREE to the public, non-ticketed event, the lines for food orders can get very long due to the success of this event. We DO apologize for wait times when the crowds are bigger than normal, but we do hope you understand that Food Trucks do not serve “fast food”- we are quick, but everything is quality, and yummy! Vendors are specifically selected for the event for being able to serve great quality food at fast speeds. We also try to track attendance over the years, and add vendors accordingly. We recommend you come early (vendors can take orders as early as 5PM!) to get your order in. June historically tends to be our busiest month with biggest crowds.

What time can I eat?

Vendors are asked to be ready to serve food at 5:15, you can always come early to get your orders in!

What time is the event over?

The event goes until Dusk/Dark, so end time will vary +/- 30 minutes throughout the season. Please check the sunset time.

Where can I park?

There are spaces throughout City Park as well as the surrounding neighborhood.  However, we do encourage that you walk, ride your bike, take the bus, Uber/Lyft, or carpool, as the surrounding neighborhood is affected by all of the cars.

ADA Access?

Since the event is in a Public Park, there are several ADA reserved parking spots near the venue on City Park Drive (inside the park), Jackson Street & Mulberry Street, but since we shut down Sheldon Drive for the event, ADA parking spots on actual Sheldon Drive are not available. There is a drop off point at the intersection of Mulberry and Sheldon where cars can temporarily pull over to drop off passengers. If you need special arrangements, please reach out to us and we will make accommodations for you. Please contact: focofoodtruckrally@gmail.com. The City of Fort Collins is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of Sheldon Drive.

Do the trucks accept credit cards?

Yes, but cash is preferred.

Is there vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free food?

Yes, please check our Facebook post or join our weekly newsletter for the weekly vendor lineup where you can see individual businesses and menus. This is also a master list (coming soon for 2023) of all of the trucks and their dietary offerings.

What happens if it is raining/bad weather?

This is a rain or shine event. The Food Truck Rally occasionally is cancelled for severe or dangerous weather. Check our website and facebook page for updates. Better yet, sign up for our weekly newsletter to have the information sent directly to you!

Is there alcohol for sale at the Rallies?

No

Can I bring my dog/pet?

Yes, on a leash.

What kind of seating is at the Rally?

There are a few picnic tables, all seating is first come, first serve.  We suggest you bring a picnic blanket or camping chairs for your own comfort.

Is there music?

Yes, there is a live musician or band. Please check our Facebook and Instagram pages to see who is playing each week! Here is the master music list for the entire season (scroll down a little!)

What If I have a complaint?

If you have a bad experience with a specific vendor or the event itself, we DO want to hear about it so we can make changes/speak to that vendor directly about their service. We do ask you send us a direct message to focofoodtruckrally@gmail.com or DM us on instagram or facebook before leaving us a bad google review. We want to keep improving this event, but we are limited by our permits with the City of Fort Collins, and physical space in regards to adding more vendors. We DO take the vendor food quality, service, and overall experience seriously, so please, reach out!

We hope you can meet up with friends and family and catch up, even if part of it is while waiting in line for your favorite truck! We SO appreciate you supporting this local event which in turn supports all of the local businesses participating. We are always open to constructive and helpful feedback so we can make this an enjoyable experience for all!

Am I allowed to set up a booth or table to give out information about my organization?

At this time, no. We have official partners and sponsors who make this event possible. If you are interested in becoming an official partner or sponsor, please reach out to focofoodtruckrally@gmail.com. We have a multitude of levels of sponsorship available. Any non-authorized “tabling” (setting up a tent, table, marketing materials) at the event will be asked to leave immediately. We DO allow “flyering”. We may open up a weekly tabling opportunity in the future- please reach out if you are interested. focofoodtruckrally@gmail.com

Am I allowed to sell my wares?
